Alena is the absolute best!! I could not have been happier with my choice to work with her for my wedding. She understood my vision from the moment we first spoke and at my trial. My hair was perfect all day on my wedding despite a windy and partially rainy day. All my bridesmaids looked beautiful as well! I highly recommend her. How do I even begin to review how wonderful and talented Alena is?! First, she was very responsive and accommodating. She was also so friendly, but professional! I was so happy to have come across Alena as she is so gifted with both hair and makeup. Alena was incredible on my wedding day she made sure that every little thing looked perfect. Not only did she do an incredible job giving me natural makeup and beautiful hair but she stuck by me during my photos, helping me with my dress and veil and making sure everything was in place. She did the same after my ceremony and having her close by put me completely at ease!
I found Alena on Instagram after searching through a number of MUAs in the NYC area. She was very helpful with deciding my look and was very receptive to my last-minute changes. She made me and my bridal party very comfortable the day of. She does a great job of making you feel like an elevated version of yourself (this is perfect for people who aren't used to a whole ton of makeup). Alena also uses a great selection of luxury products. She was on time, super professional, and overall a wonderful person to keep you relaxed on your big day!

Hair is such an art, and Alena proves that. She was very responsive with her emails and answered any questions I had. With the trial, I showed her my Pinterest pins, and she made the style work for my hair type. I was afraid to dye my hair for the big day so she recommended ombre extensions for me to purchase. She sent me the link and they matched my hair perfectly! On my wedding day, Alena showed up on time and was a perfectionist with my hair. It lasted the whole day, which included some heat, wind, and the constant adding and removing of the veil. I got so many complements on my look. What sweetened the deal too was that she offered advice on how to use a broken hair vine I could no longer use to make all of the bridesmaids match. By breaking vine up, each girl had a nice hairpiece. Seriously, look no further than Alena.

Alena did my hair and makeup for my wedding day she was very friendly and welcoming.
On the run up to the day she had great communication through emails as I am from the UK organising to meet her in New York. She did both mine and my mum make up exactly how we asked and made up both feel at ease. I also loved my hair it gave me lots of confidence for the day! Would recommend to anyone looking for a reliable and welcoming bridal MUA and hairstylist.

I was so lucky to have found Alena through my photographer. She is so accommodating and did an AMAZING job for my wedding (I even referred her to my friend that was getting married a couple months after me). She is just the sweetest person ever, she makes you feel at ease. Very professional, punctual, and is able to do both hair and make up extremely well, which I felt was hard to find in the price range I was looking for. She's also really good at braids, I didn't get one but my maid of honor got a Rapunzel long braid which was absolutely stunning. Bring a Pinterest picture to her and she'll actually be able to recreate it. Highly recommend!

I hired Alena for my wedding and I'm so glad I got to work with her! She did hair for me and 3 of my bridesmaids and everyone loved how their hair turned out! I did a trial with Alena where I was torn between a half-up look and an updo. She graciously offered to trial both looks which made my decision much easier. I decided to go with the low updo and it turned out beautifully on my wedding day -- I got so many compliments! Alena does incredible work (at a really great price!) and I'd highly recommend her to other brides!
Alena is so amazing and made me feel so beautiful on my day! She really made my vision come to life and all my wedding dreams come true. I truly did not know that my hair could do what it did but she made it happen! She is attentive, responds to emails and messages quickly, and is super accommodating. Alena was very responsive to all of my emails. Before my hair trial she provided with sample work which helped me choose my style for the wedding day. On my wedding day she was so quick styling everyone's hair we were ahead of schedule!! My bridesmaids said this was the first time they didn't feel rushed during a wedding.
Alena worked with everyone's styles and did touch ups before leaving. She was great!!
